Outsource to America™ and Your Community

Michigan is home to the country’s 11th population of military veterans– nearly 350,000 of which are unemployed. To raise awareness and vital dollars to support job training and employment initiatives for veterans and their families, GalaxE.Solutions and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit have issued a limited edition, “Operation Good Jobs” t-shirt at the Mackinac Policy Conference.

The Made-in-the-U.S.A. camouflage shirts are free with a minimum $10 donation to Goodwill, an organization solely dedicated to helping Southeast Michigan residents overcome employment challenges and earn jobs. The project symbolizes the GalaxE.Solutions and Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit’s collective mission of putting Metro Detroiters back to work.

Goodwill’s “Operation Good Jobs” is focused on eliminating barriers to employment for military veterans and their families to facilitate self-sufficiency. In the past year, the program has helped more than 100 veterans and family members find jobs or access veteran care services and entitled benefits. The program provides job assessment, training and placement in addition to ongoing support to ensure long term success. Yet, funding is limited.

Located in Detroit’s Campus Martius, GalaxE Solutions, Inc. has illustrated its dedication to the City of Detroit’s workforce through its ongoing partnership with Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. The company has also highlighted the benefits of working and living in the City through its “Outsource to Detroit” and “Love, Detroit” campaigns.

“Our commitment to Detroit is unwavering,” said Tim Bryan, CEO, GalaxE Solutions. “Since expanding to Detroit in 2010, we continue to appreciate the talent, geography and economic benefits of doing business in this great American city. In our ongoing efforts to bolster the Detroit job market, we are supporting “Operation Good Jobs” to ensure veterans and their families are able to access the resources necessary to thrive.”
