It’s that time of year again – where all of Detroit’s greatest
technologists convene and collaborate about progressive technologies, industry
trends and best practices! This year’s DetroitDevDay will be held at the
COBO Center on Saturday, November 14th.
We're pleased to announce that Matt Hawkins, GalaxE Technical
Manager, will be speaking on Real World Event Sourcing and CQRS.
Matt will be discussing a real world example of Domain
Driven Design with Event Sourcing and Command
Query Responsibility Segregation written in F# – a functional first
language on the .NET Framework. He’ll take a deep dive into the F# algebraic
type system that constructs the domain model and also explain the abstract
notion of a DDD aggregate root compared to the CQRS implementation of an
aggregate root. This discussion will conclude with how sagas and triggers
facilitate poly-aggregate communication.
Come out and join Matt at 2:30PM in room 252A. We hope to see
